Monster Road was selected to screen as part of Film Festival Cologne’s 30th anniversary in Germany in October 2020. The film was named among the Top Ten Films at the 2004 festival, and the festival directors selected Monster Road for a retrospective screening “as one of the best films in the festival’s entire 30-year history.” What a wonderful way to honor the memory of the late, great Seattle animator Bruce Bickford, the subject of Monster Road.
