Moon Plow

Moon Plow (Dir. Brett Ingram, 1992, one minute, silent)

Moon Plow is an abstract experiment in line animation, loosely inspired by Native American creation myths with a dark, contemporary twist.

The eponymous multimedia installation looped Moon Plow on a video monitor imbedded within a plaster moon, appearing to be unearthed by an abstract sculpture welded from rusted tractor parts. Unfortunately, the sculpture was abandoned, and no photographs of it survived.

Moon Plow, the installation, was exhibited at University of North Carolina Greensboro, Caldwell Arts Council Annual Sculpture Celebration, and Greenhill Center for NC Arts.
